Corrine Perez Garcia

Corrine Perez-Garcia is an award winning jewelry designer and goldsmith in Southern California.  Her work has been exhibited in galleries and fine art shows across the country.  After earning her B.F.A. degree, from California College of Arts in Oakland, in 1984, she returned to her home-state of Michigan, where she established a jewelry studio.  For the next 13 years, she designed jewelry for local stores and private clients.  In 1998, she moved to Carlsbad, Ca to teach jewelry design and manufacturing at the Gemological Institute of America.

In 2005, she left teaching to focus exclusively on creating her own signature jewelry line.  Since returning to designing she has won four awards for her designs, has exhibited in some of the country’s most prestigious shows, including BMAC and ACC-Baltimore, and has been nominated twice as a “Top Colored Stone Designer” for Colored Stone magazine.

Corrine now concentrates on producing 18k gold jewelry that is both artistically stimulating and comfortable to wear.  Her elegant designs are influenced by the breathtaking beauty of the California coastline.  Extracting the essence of those forms, she designs jewelry that is sculpturally interesting from every angle, while creating a harmonious flow between the gold and the gemstones.
