Singaporean table tennis superstar Li Jiawei is seen wearing a one-carat diamond ring reportedly given by her soon to be groom China’s diamond magnate Li Hou Lin during one of her recent appearances.
A ONE-carat diamond ring hanging on the fourth finger of her left hand made the 2008 Olympic table tennis silver medalist a hit among the global media.
Li Jiawei, a member of the Singaporean team that won a silver medal in the summer Olympic games in China, became the talk of the town when she was seen wearing the diamond ring in one of her recent public appearances .

According to the media report, the diamond ring estimated to cost some $4,200 to $6,300 was given by her soon to be groom China’s diamond magnate Li Hou Lin.
Although the Singaporean table tennis queen refused to categorically admit the ring was a given to her as an engagement ring by Lin, she did admit to the media that she also received a diamond necklace from her special someone.
Based on a report from one of China’s leading online dailies, Lin bought the elegant piece of jewelry from his store Hiersun Diamond Palace.

The reporters who interviewed Jiawei said the Olympic medalist was very happy as she narrates the facts about her important pieces of jewelry.
Before her encounter with Hou Lin, Jiawei had accepted fellow Singapore sports star Ronald Susilo’s proposal for hand in marriage in 2004. However, their relationship broke in January this year, thus ending their six-year courtship.
